Deadly Highway 401 Collision Kills Kitchener Man

Fatal Motorcycle Collision

A fatal motorcycle collision has occurred on Highway 401 westbound at Highway 8 in Kitchener.

Victim Identified

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have identified the victim as a 30-year-old man from Kitchener.

Cause of Crash

According to OPP, the man collided into the back of a stalled delivery truck on Monday morning.

Highway Reopened

As of May 8, 2023 at 1:17 PM, Highway 401 westbound has reopened at Highway 8.
