Rams Fall Hard to Cardinals 41-10
Rams Drop Home Game to Cardinals
The Los Angeles Rams fell to the Arizona Cardinals 41-10 in a disappointing home game on Sunday. The Rams were outplayed in all facets of the game.
The Cardinals scored touchdowns on their first three drives of the game, building a 21-0 lead early in the second quarter. The Rams offense struggled to keep up, going three-and-out on their first three possessions.
Cardinals Dominate Rams Defense
The Cardinals offense continued to roll in the second half, scoring touchdowns on their first two drives to extend their lead to 41-3. The Rams defense had no answer for Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, who threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns.
The Rams offense finally got on the board late in the third quarter with a touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp. However, the Cardinals defense held the Rams offense in check for the rest of the game.
Rams Look to Rebound Next Week
The Rams will look to rebound next week when they travel to face the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are coming off a 24-9 win over the Carolina Panthers.
The Rams will need to play much better if they want to beat the 49ers. The Cardinals exposed some major weaknesses in the Rams defense, and the 49ers are sure to try to exploit those weaknesses.
The Rams are now 2-2 on the season, while the Cardinals are 3-1.
